Today while out on assignment, this beautiful blue egret caught my attention as I was waiting for the fishermen to weigh and measure their sheepshead and trout for a fishing tournament in St. James City. Of course it hung close by waiting for the fishermen to throw pieces of the fish they were cleaning by the water.
The closer I stood taking pictures, the more curious it became, while posing for me as I snapped shot after shot. This beautiful creature kept me occupied as I patiently waited for the weigh-in to be completed.
My curiosity will never grow tired, as I stop and watch a beautiful bird in its own surroundings. It kept my attention for quite some time as it walked back and forth.
There is definitely a perk to working on an island, especially covering events outdoors.
